Welcome to the Anchor. We are a large, friendly,  family run pub situated on the outskirts of Hitchin  town centre.
Having recently undergone an extensive refurbishment, we now  have a dedicated restaurant area – serving food all day & a fantastic Sunday roast. We also have Bar Menus to cater for all  - including a Student discount available on  production of an NUS Card.
We have a huge Bar, with friendly outgoing staff. Equipped  with 2 widescreen TV’s showing all sports & separate Pool area.
All functions are catered for, including Disco’s Birthdays etc. We also have a huge car park & gardens, complete with children’s play area, outside bar & BBQ. We are open all day, every day – till 11.30pm Sunday to Thursday & till 12.00 midnight Friday & Saturday.  We look forward to seeing you soon!!
